Each armature begins as a 6mm brass rod, heated to working temperature and shaped entirely by hand. No jigs. No templates. The bend carries the maker's decision in every millimetre.
Mouth-blown in Ishikawa Prefecture, each glass body is unique — slight variations in wall thickness create unpredictable light diffusion. We match globe to armature to room, never the other way around.
No photograph of a Hikari piece is taken with additional lighting. What you see is what the fixture does to the room.

「光は空間を作る道具ではない。
光こそが、空間そのものだ。」
"Light is not a tool that shapes a room. Light is the room."
— Kenji Mori, 2019. Written in the studio.
